The event will take place at St Saviour\u2019s School, Ikoyi, in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Now established as a major fixture on the school sports calendar, the programme has expanded significantly since its debut, which featured fewer than five schools. In its seventh season, the annual competition drew participation from more than 20 schools across Lagos and Ogun State, with the meet sanctioned by the Nigeria Aquatic Federation, the Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC) and the Nigeria School Sports Federation (NSSF).<\/p>\n<p>The league is organised by Dynaspro Sports Promotion in partnership with Advanta Interactive Limited, while receiving technical support from the Lagos State Swimming Association. With growing momentum, it continues to attract increasing interest from schools around the country.<\/p>\n<h2>Why Season 7\u2019s Award Day is so significant<\/h2>\n<p>Tournament coordinator Oluseyi Oyebode said this year\u2019s ceremony carries extra meaning, pointing to the league\u2019s growing track record of producing swimmers who go on to represent Nigeria at junior level, taking part in events both within and beyond Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Oyebode said the league\u2019s development work is beginning to show clear results, adding that the ultimate goal has long been to cultivate Olympians. He also highlighted the role of families in the pathway, describing parents and guardians as key pillars behind their wards\u2019 progress. In addition, he paid tribute to Rite Foods, the league\u2019s main sponsor, whose backing he described as vital throughout Season 7.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Oyebode said the league\u2019s earlier groundwork has started producing positive outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>He noted that some league graduates are now representing Nigeria internationally.<\/li>\n<li>He reaffirmed the long-term aim of developing swimmers capable of reaching the Olympic Games.<\/li>\n<li>He credited parents and guardians for their consistent support and commitment during Season 7.<\/li>\n<li>He acknowledged Rite Foods for its steady backing, calling it invaluable this season.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Looking ahead, Oyebode said the Award Day is intended not only to recognise top performers but also to serve as motivation for future seasons. He added that the league is working to keep raising the standard through new initiatives, with the separation of elementary and secondary school competitions credited for improving organisation.
