His impact for Nigeria has intensified speculation about where his career goes from here.<\/p>\n<p>That buzz has been matched by club-level pursuit. Ipswich Town, who edged past Millwall to secure an automatic promotion spot to the Premier League, have already made multiple offers for the player, with each one being rejected.<\/p>\n<h2>What Ipswich\u2019s bids have looked like<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Ipswich Town moved to sign Azeez after his performances, but Millwall turned down several approaches.<\/li>\n<li>The most recent proposal came in at \u00a320 million, which was rejected.<\/li>\n<li>Millwall are reportedly looking for \u00a330 million, leaving the sides some distance apart on valuation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Azeez on chasing the next step<\/h2>\n<p>Azeez described his 2024-25 Championship season as a platform and emphasized that international football was the next challenge he wanted to embrace. He said: \u201cI had a good season in the Championship and obviously, to do it on the international stage as well was just that next step up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that he never feels settled after reaching targets: \u201cWhenever I achieve something, I\u2019m always hungry for more. I\u2019m never satisfied with what I\u2019ve got.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Continuing, the forward insisted he is determined to keep rising: \u201cI\u2019m always going to work towards that next level because I\u2019m ambitious as a footballer and as a person, and I want to reach as high of a level as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Azeez also pointed to the Premier League as his ultimate aim: \u201cThe Premier League is obviously the pinnacle of football. I\u2019d love to play in the Premier League. So obviously, working hard, I\u2019m going to do whatever I can to get there.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Millwall spell and the numbers behind it<\/h2>\n<p>Azeez joined Millwall from Reading in August 2024 for a fee of around \u00a31 million.
