Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa, an actor and fashion designer, has suggested that she still hasn\u2019t received any money from her former spouse, Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Black Coffee, even after a court decision went in her favour and their divorce was finalised.<\/p>\n
The star took to Instagram to go live with her followers, using the session to connect with fans and field a mix of spontaneous questions\u2014some of which veered into personal territory.<\/p>\n
During the livestream, Mlotshwa also addressed the kind of rumours that often follow high-profile splits, including claims that she must already have received a major payout. She shut down that narrative with her usual humour and directness.<\/p>\n
“Who said I’m a millionaire? Nothing has been reflected on my account. No money has gone through. I’m still living my life; I’m just like you guys,” she said, laughing off suggestions that the acclaimed DJ was slow to settle what she was owed.<\/p>\n
While the actress didn\u2019t provide extra details about the divorce itself or her intimate life, she was clear about her experience with the marriage\u2014and what it ultimately took for her to walk away.<\/p>\n
“I don’t take nonsense. The last time I took nonsense was when I was married. And then I decided not to take nonsense anymore. I then decided to get a divorce. From that day, I have not been taking nonsense,” she said.<\/p>\n
When fans asked if she would ever consider getting married again, Mlotshwa offered a thoughtful but honest response.<\/p>\n
“Do I want to get married? Yes, I think so. It will happen organically.”<\/p>\n
She also pushed back on online chatter suggesting she has been badmouthing her ex, pointing out that she hasn\u2019t spoken about him publicly for years.<\/p>\n
“Social media is the one which is obsessed with the artist,” she said.<\/p>\n
Mlotshwa and Black Coffee\u2014whose birth name is Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo\u2014began their relationship with a Zulu customary wedding in May 2011, later adding a civil ceremony in 2017. Over time, their eventual separation became increasingly personal, with Mlotshwa later describing \u201ctwo children by two different women\u201d as the breaking point in their marriage.<\/p>\n
In November 2019, she confirmed the split to followers via an emotional Instagram video, explaining that she had filed for divorce and requesting privacy as she went through what she called \u201ca very, very, very rough\u201d period.<\/p>\n
Before the divorce was finalised, Mlotshwa spoke to 702 presenter Relebogile Mabotja about the emotional impact of the relationship, saying: “I’m proud of how I handled my marriage. I never cheated, not once, until the day I decided to leave \u2013 because I could no longer take the punishment to myself.”<\/p>\n
