The latest move adds to a brief run of gains that started at the beginning of the week, while the parallel market rate remained unchanged.<\/p>\n<h2>Naira performance across official and parallel markets<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>At the official foreign exchange market on Tuesday, the naira traded at <strong>N1,360.55 per dollar<\/strong>, compared with <strong>N1,362.84<\/strong> recorded on Monday.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>On a day-to-day basis, that represents an improvement of <strong>N2.29<\/strong> for the naira against the dollar at the official window.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>In the black market, the naira was quoted at <strong>N1,395 per dollar<\/strong> on Tuesday, matching the level seen on Monday.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Reserves rise to support the currency<\/h2>\n<p>The move comes alongside a reported jump in Nigeria\u2019s external reserves.
