Nigeria\u2019s state-owned NNPC Limited has lowered its premium motor spirit (petrol) retail price just one week after Dangote Refinery adjusted its petrol \u201cgantry\u201d pricing. A market check carried out on Tuesday morning found that NNPCL outlets in Abuja and surrounding areas have marked fuel down to N1,260 per litre<\/strong>, compared with the prior N1,335<\/strong> level.<\/p>\n

The change implies a reduction of N75 per litre<\/strong> at the company\u2019s retail counters. The new rate was reported to be in effect at NNPCL stations on the Kubwa Expressway, in Wuse Zone 6 (Berger), and in Zone 4 within Abuja as of the time of reporting.<\/p>\n
