\u201cI\u2019ve definitely been there myself,\u201d she explains, \u201cbut the song comes from watching relationships\u2014including my own\u2014and noticing how often we only realize someone\u2019s value after the fact. I wanted to share that story with honesty, but also with warmth and joy instead of regret and sorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n
Over time, her understanding of love has evolved.<\/p>\n
\u201cLove isn\u2019t just about loss or longing,\u201d she says. \u201cIt\u2019s also about hope, excitement, curiosity, and believing that amazing things are still possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes you only understand the real value of a connection once you\u2019ve had time to reflect,\u201d Lady Zamar adds. \u201cInstead of centring regret, I wanted to centre appreciation and the possibility of doing better in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since beginning her solo journey around 2017, Lady Zamar has watched musical trends shift again and again, but she\u2019s kept faith with the pop sound that defines her. \u201cThere\u2019s always pressure to follow trends,\u201d she says. \u201cBut I\u2019ve learned that trends fade, while the artist I am doesn\u2019t. Authenticity lasts longer. Creating only makes sense when you create from truth and conviction. I never want to chase something just because it\u2019s popular.\u201d<\/p>\n
That same commitment to sincerity shows up in how she writes, too.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf being honest helps someone feel seen and understood, then it\u2019s worth sharing small pieces of myself,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
When she looks back on the last nine years, she says her proudest moment has always been watching people connect with her music. Still, she\u2019s been honest about the difficult times as well\u2014especially when she felt misunderstood.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery time I\u2019ve had to fight to be understood by management, by society, or by producers, it\u2019s left me drained,\u201d she admits.<\/p>\n
Outside the spotlight, Lady Zamar finds joy in everyday routines and real relationships. She credits happiness to simple time with family and friends, cooking, travelling, and having conversations that feel meaningful rather than performative.<\/p>\n
\u201cThose normal, ordinary moments are incredibly grounding,\u201d she says. \u201cThey remind me that joy doesn\u2019t always have to be loud or expensive.\u201d<\/p>\n
For her, the biggest reward isn\u2019t chart positions\u2014it\u2019s the impact her songs have on people\u2019s lives. She recalls hearing from fans who used her music during every kind of season: grieving, celebrating achievements, falling in love, or trying to push through tough days.<\/p>\n
\u201cFans have told me they played my songs while grieving, celebrating milestones, falling in love, or just trying to get through difficult days,\u201d she says. \u201cOnce a song leaves the studio, it belongs to everyone else. Love is more powerful than anything else on earth. I want people to never lose hope. If my music encourages someone to feel more hopeful, more joyful, or a little less alone, then I\u2019ve done what I set out to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
