For the first time in my career, actually, so I had to get used to that,\u201d Dessers said.<\/p>\n<p>The striker now wants a much more productive campaign, stressing that his focus is on getting his body right and returning to peak form. \u201cI am working extremely hard to be in top shape this season. Giving it my all, scoring goals, winning matches and lifting trophies. I expect to be in top shape by the start of the league in mid-August. Hopefully, I\u2019ll already get some minutes in the European qualifiers before that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dessers also insisted his next step is about more than personal improvement, pointing to the support he has received from the club and its supporters. \u201cI want to repay the club and its supporters for their backing,\u201d he said. \u201cEspecially because the club paid a nice transfer fee for me, I just want to give something back to them. For the fans too, of course.
