Ekejiuba also pointed to Rangers International, claiming that for much of the campaign they appeared set for glory under Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu. Still, their meeting against Ikorodu City this weekend will be their biggest test, especially because Ikorodu City are unbeaten at home and are pushing hard for a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alongside the title race, Ekejiuba reserved praise for Rivers United and Coach Finidi George, describing their rise from second place into a more structured and resilient side.<\/p>\n
\u201cRivers United have turned the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium into a real fortress, staying unbeaten at home since October 2025,\u201d Ekejiuba said. \u201cTheir stunning 3-2 comeback win over Wikki Tourists in Bauchi on Matchday 37 captured their refusal to fold. They\u2019ll be counting heavily on their fast forward, Wisdom Samuel, to find the goals when Katsina United visit.\u201d<\/p>\n
