Setting a fee for a player we have no intention of transferring is like dressing up a footballer who hasn\u2019t even been born yet,\u201d \u00d6zbek said.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6zbek also highlighted Osimhen\u2019s influence since joining the club, suggesting the attacker is already evolving into a central figure for a fresh wave of Galatasaray supporters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOsimhen is creating the second generation of Galatasaray fans,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Osimhen made the switch to Galatasaray on a permanent basis from Napoli in the summer of 2025, following a fruitful loan spell with the Istanbul club, where he played a major role in delivering a domestic double.<\/p>\n<p>The Super Eagles forward has continued to shine in the current season, driving Galatasaray\u2019s push to defend the Turkish league crown and also helping the team reach the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.<\/p>\n<p>Across all competitions, he produced yet another standout run, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances.<\/p>\n<p>His steady output has reportedly sparked interest from a number of leading European sides, including Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Galatasaray\u2019s president, Dursun \u00d6zbek, has moved to cool speculation surrounding Victor Osimhen\u2019s summer plans, stressing that the club has no plans to part ways with the Nigerian forward in the upcoming transfer window.
