Namibian musician Paul Munanjala was accused of being an illegal immigrant by immigration officials. He was apparently not in possession of a proper work permit, which lead him to being held captive at the Ariamsvlei border post.

This according to The Namibian, which spoke to a official at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security executive director Etienne Maritz said his application was never granted.
“The ministry does not have any record of the application for a study permit from Munanjala, which means he never applied for a study permit,” said Maritz
Following this debacle, he was spotted in the country at Cofi, a restaurant in Centurion, Pretoria, celebrating The Queen actor SK Khoza’s fiancee’s birthday.
Paul once made an appearance on the Queen, so we guess his cameo strengthened their bromance.
