Jeannie D: “I Don’t Believe In Divorce”

Earlier this month the news broke that Top billing presenter, Jeannie D, had called off her wedding to British businessman Jon Firth.

The news came just six months before the wedding day. The designer dress that had been ordered from oversees was waiting for collection and word about town was that Jeannie was pulling out all the stops for her big day.

Speaking to YOU magazine Jeannie said “It was going to be truly majestic.”

She continued, “I don’t believe in divorce and I felt maybe that’s the way things would have ended up.

“I wasn’t planning on pulling a Kim Kardashian and cancelling my marriage after 72 days. I believe you should go with your gut and my gut was telling me Jon and I shouldn’t be married.”
