Jub Jub was coping well after spending his first night behind bars last night.

ZAlebs spoke to his close friend, who was also a witness during the two-year trial, who said Jub Jub is keeping strong.

“I spoke to him this morning, and he was fine. I will go see him later. I’m not sure if him and Themba are together but I hope so. They have been civil towards each other throughout the trial.”

“I hope they stick together in there – it’s better that way. I don’t think anything bad will happen to them despite all the things people have been saying.”

On Tuesday, 16 October, after a long four-day judgment – Jub Jub was found guilty of four counts of murder, along with co-accused Themba Tshabalala.

The pair will spend six weeks in prison before their sentencing at Protea Magistrates Court on November 30.

Judging from his tweets, the day before being remanded, Jub Jub seemed ready for whatever was coming his way:

“Thank u RB Fam, together we stand divided we fall… “Its not about me but the team behind me, n the GOD I serve who guides ya’ll- jah bless.”

“Lord forgive em for they don’t knw anything they doing. I love u daddy, ifear n trust u therefore u the only one that can judge man.”

His last tweet on the day was to a fan who had told the muso how much he enjoys his song Umoya Wam: “thank u my man… Couldn’t do this without ya’ll its made specially for ya’ll that truly luv a brother.”
