The homestead of President Jacob Zuma, KwaNxamalala in Nkandla, has undergone an extensive revamp which reportedly cost the taxpayer R203 million.
The government is planning a new R2-billion town in Zuma’s home village of Nkandla.
The new town would be constructed 3km from Zuma’s home in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal.
The government would reportedly spend more than R1 billion of taxpayers’ money on the development, while a further R1 billion would be raised from the private sector.
