South African-born actress and Hollywood star Charlize Theron was spotted dining at a popular Cape Town restaurant yesterday afternoon!
The 37-year-old Oscar-winning actress, who has spent the last three months filming Mad Max 4: Fury Road on location in Namibia, enjoyed a cosy lunch with her mother Gerda, and adopted son, Jackson, at the popular Grand Beach Café restaurant in Granger Bay, near the V&A Waterfront.
It is believed that filming of Mad Max has now moved to Cape Town, with Charlize and her entourage staying at a private rented villa in Camps Bay.
Donning her new shaved head underneath a beige sun hat, wearing silver shades, a white long sleeved top as well as a light blue denim jeans, Theron spent more than two-hours eating and drinking with her small entourage of eight people at the venue.
The Benoni born star shaved off her long blonde locks to play the character Furiosa in the fourth instalment of the Mad Max post apocalyptic movie series, which initially launched the career of Mel Gibson.
A restaurant goer told ZAlebs that Theron arrived looking happy and relaxed, without any make-up on, as she and her guests sipped on Veuve Clicqout champagne throughout their meal.
“She looked beautiful while playing in the sand with her son, Jackson, and she never took her shades or hat off. Although she enjoyed the privacy of her visit, Charlize looked happy to be there, despite being noticed by other customers at the restaurant,” she said.
