Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am has been spending plenty of time in the UK while working on The Voice, and he thinks Queen Elizabeth, the country’s monarch, is “super dope”.

He apparently said, “I love the queen…She reminds me of my mum…their strength and perseverance.

“My mum is everything to me, she’s my ideal woman.”

Um. AWK-WARD!

Meanwhile, the star is enjoying Britain, mostly because of their sense of humour, which doesn’t seem to be as dull as the world has been led to believe, what with the country being in perpetual winter.

He said, “I love Britain, I love how excited Brits get when there’s a hint of sunshine, it’s hilarious.”

The lack of Vitamin D must be getting to his brain…

Don’t Be A WHAT?!

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has a mantra that he’ll stick to through thick and thin: “don’t be a pu**y”.

The 26-year-old actor has apparently been “scared” about his career, but is determined to use his mantra to help him become more daring with his choices.

He said his life mantra is “don’t be a pu**y” and added: “Basically, that’s the best thing you can ever think. I’ve had so many occasions in my life where I’ve acted like a pu**y and regretted it. Have you seen that Mike Tyson documentary? That bit where he says he’d defeated the guy before he’s walked into the ring, it’s the same thing.”

Robert’s co-stars will have be careful about their ears when they’re around him in future…

Michael Thought He Was A Turd?

The King of Poop seems to have had a strange relationship with his ex-wife, Lisa Marie-Presley. Or at least a strange nickname…

It seems that the “Thriller” hitmaker signed letters to his then-wife as ‘Turd’, a slang word for faeces. The revelation came from a handwritten letter that was amongst Michael Jackson’s belongings that were being auctioned off at Julien’s Auctions upcoming Music Icons sale.

The letter reads as follows: “I truly need this rest. I haven’t slept litterally in 4 days and I need to be away from phones and business people. I must take care of my health first. Im’ crazy for you. [sic]’

He signed the letter, “Love, Turd”.

Lisa Marie has requested that the letter be removed from the auction, and so it has been because of the letter’s personal nature.

And possibly because of the weird nickname she had for him?

It seems that Rihanna has a girl-crush on British singer Cheryl Cole, and would like nothing more than to watch the star “cleaning the floor” naked.

The pop star told Esquire: “I would just like to watch her work… Anything. Preferably cleaning things on the floor. Picking up stuff on the floor. Anything. Bending over.

“She’s hot! I mean, literally…she’s so beautiful.”

Cheryl Cole is not the only girl-crush Rihanna’s admitted to: she’s said before she “wants” Adele because of her honest outlook on life. She said of Adele, “I think some artists can’t help but say exactly how they feel. She’s another woman who knows her truth and lives that. She’s not in it for anyone but herself.”

Yes, selfishness is certainly an admirable quality.

Jessica Simpson A Proud Weight Watcher

Jessica Simpson is “so excited” about becoming a Weight Watchers ambassador.

The 31-year-old ‘Fashion Star’ mentor confirmed that she had signed a $4million deal with the diet plan brand on twitter on Wednesday.

She wrote: “So excited to be part of the Weight Watchers family.”

Jessica gave birth to her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson, 32, last month – a daughter named Maxwell Drew.

She wrote on her Facebook page: “The cool thing about the program is that it focuses on healthy habits for the long-term (and I can still indulge in my guilty pleasures every now and then, too). I have actually gotten a group of friends together who are going to be doing it with me.”

The 5ft 3in star is hoping to lose her baby weight within the year, according to reports.

A source told Us Weekly: “As soon as Jessica heals from the C-section, she is extremely determined to get back in the gym and work out. She wants to show the world and is excited to do it.”

The insider added that she hasn’t chosen a trainer yet.

They said: “In fact, she hasn’t even thought about working out for a year. But if she wants this, she’ll need to work out a good five days a week.”

We would gladly pack on a few pounds for a $4million ambassadorship!

Kim Apologises For Xenophobic Slur

Kim Kardashian did not mean to offend Indian people on an episode of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

The 31-year-old reality TV star prompted a backlash from fans on twitter recently after branding food from the Asian country as “disgusting” in her show.

She took to her blog to clear up the matter on Tuesday.

She wrote: “Just Want to Clear Something Up. In NO way was [my comment] intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste.

“There are a lot of foods I don’t like . . . I hate cilantro [coriander] and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn’t reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture.”

The E! star explained: “My comment wasn’t intended to offend anybody. We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine.”

Kim was inspired to publish the post after some viewers expressed their opinion of her via the micro-blogging website.

One wrote: “I think it’s good Kim Kardashian doesn’t like Indian food, because that means she won’t ever visit India and that in itself is a blessing.”

Another said: “Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner called Indian food ‘so disgusting.’ Seriously? You don’t have to like it, [but] don’t be rude.”

Kim clearly has not taste! Give us a delicious chicken korma any day!

Has Matthew ‘Lost’ His Mind?

‘Lost’ star Dominic Monaghan is “not interested” in being friends with Matthew Fox because he “beats women”.

The actor made the accusation about his co-star on the cancelled television series after a fan of the two encouraged Dominic to get Matthew to join the micro-blogging website.

When the follower asked him to get the screen star to create an account, he replied: “He beats women. No thanks.”

He elaborated when the woman joked: ‘WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE GOOD TIMES YOU HAD TOGETHER?!”

He responded: “How do you know we ever did? you don’t know either of us. he beats women.not isolated incidents. often. not interested.”

Sources told TMZ.com that the pair have not spoken for years, and they never had any sort of argument so it’s baffling to Matthew as to why Dominic would launch the online rant.

A female bus driver from Cleveland, Ohio accused Matthew last year of punching her in the groin area after she refused him a ride back to his hotel.

He denied the allegation and no criminal charges were filed, however he counter-sued after the claim.

Sheen To Make A Surprise Appearance

Charlie Sheen will make a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie Awards 2012.

The former ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor has been lined up for a stint on stage at the ceremony according to a report.

Charlie will introduce a tribute to party films and will announce musical act Wiz Khalifa, who was recently arrested for marijuana possession.

A source told E! News: “Even though Charlie has cleaned up his act, he still has a sense of humor about his out-of-control days.”

Another source said: “It’s all going to be a really big party moment.”

Also at the event on Sunday night, Kristen Stewart will present a section with her ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ co-star Chris Hemsworth.

Meanwhile, her boyfriend and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 co-star Robert Pattinson will not be attending this year.

Russell Brand will host the bash.

The British comedian – who announced his divorce from Katy Perry last December – will present the June 3 ceremony at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, for the first time, and he insists the event will be “more impressive” than recent box office sensation ‘Avengers Assemble’.

He said: “This MTV Movie Awards will be more impressive than ‘The Avengers’ and you won’t have to wait an hour for someone to Hulk out.”

We don’t know what we are more worried about – Charlie’s appearance or Russell’s hosting job!

Arrested For Sleeping In Her Own House?!

Socialite and businesswoman Uyanda Mbuli has been cleared of any criminal wrongdoing.

This was the decision of the Midrand Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, where Mbuli appeared for a bail hearing.

She was infamously arrested earlier this month at the house co-owned by her and her estranged husband, Sisa Mbuli.

The famous couple announced their divorce in February after ten years of marriage and have since respectively taken out court orders prohibiting any contact.

It was thought that Uyanda was in violation of that order when she arrived on 4 May at the Midrand home she and Sisa share.

She was arrested and had to spend a night in jail, an experience she later said was ‘the most painful 24 hours of my life.’

The arrest made headlines partly because she was apparently in a dressing gown and requested to change her clothes. When she then failed to come out of the house, a female officer had to be sent in to arrest her.

But the court found that Uyanda did nothing wrong, as the house belongs to both her and her husband, meaning she is fully entitled to be there.

While she has not given any comment, her spokesperson Simphiwe Majola told the Sowetan newspaper: ‘We are hurt that lies were reported that she was found naked when she was merely taking a shower at her home during the arrest.’

Still, it might be a matter of tit for tat. In March Uyanda laid a similar complaint of her husband violating the order she obtained, but police were unable to locate him.

Khanyi Caught in On-Air Lie

The former wife of former millionaire Mandla Mthembu claimed on The Real Goboza on SABC1 almost two weeks ago that she is pregnant with current boyfriend Tebogo Lerole’s child.

Lerole, who is the frontman of Kwela Tebza, is certainly not pleased with the latest turn of events, as Sunday World revealed on Monday that Mbau is most definitely not pregnant.

The sad thing is that Khanyi apparently lied in order to gain the favour of Lerole’s family, who has questioned her motives in dating the singer. Now, her efforts are all in vain, and she’s embarrassed them more than anything.

A family friend, who requested to remain anonymous, told Sunday World that Lerole’s mother didn’t know anything about the supposed pregnancy, and the announcement on The Real Goboza was the first she’d heard of it.

‘Mama Thembi called Tebogo [after the announcement] to demand an explanation about what she said… She also accused Tebogo of being secretive when it comes to issues relating to the family,’ the source said.

When Mbau was contacted to comment on being caught out, she claimed that she has never appeared on The Real Goboza. She told the caller, ‘I’ve never said I am pregnant and I am lying low for now.’ She made this comment despite millions of viewers watching her make the announcement.

Her boyfriend is also silent, and has refused to comment.

Does Khanyi want us to believe that somewhere out there is a look-alike intent on ruining her life? Um…
