Getting Fit The Fun Way?

English actor Russell Brand hopes to make his way through the entire Kama Sutra by the end of the summer in London.

The Kama Sutra, which is a 2,000-year-old sex positions book, is famed for describing the art of lovemaking, and now that the actor is single and estranged from his ex-wife Katy Perry, he intends making good use of this time.

According to a friend, who spoke to the Daily Star: “He has set himself the challenge of reading it and acting it out before summer ends. It’s been a long-term aim of his. And now he’s single he’s going to go for it.”

The source added that Russell “gets bored easily” and needed to set little challenges for himself.

We challenge him to really read the book, though, and not simply look at the pictures…

Your Child Doesn’t Care If You’re Fat!

Former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson has expressed concern for fellow mother Jessica Simpson, as she is afraid the public might make her put her weight ahead of her child. This comes after critics have been busting Jessica because of her post-baby body.

Kendra said: “That just breaks my heart. I feel for her. I was in the same boat. People just need to mind their own business. That’s a woman who just gave birth.”

Jessica has signed up with Weight Watchers as she tries to lose weight after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew in May, and even though she is excited about losing the weight, Kendra has warned her that her child should be her “first priority” now.

She added: “A lot of people just dump their kids off at nannies and lose the weight overnight.” (Here’s looking at you, Victoria’s Secret models!)

Here’s Looking At You Boy..Err..Girl..

Beautiful 37-year-old actress Chloe Sevigny was apparently worried that her fans would be ‘angry’ with her for playing a transsexual in a television series called ‘Hit & Miss’.

The actress plays Mia, a pre-op transgender hitman, in the series, and she was also worried that she would be able to justice to the role, saying: “I was worried people would be angry that they didn’t cast a real person who was transitioning. I asked why they didn’t, and the producers said they didn’t find the right person. It’s a big responsibility toward [the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender] community, and I wanted to do them right.”

However, Chloe soon realised the part was perfect for her, even though Hollywood doesn’t like her. She’s hit out at the film industry for this, insisting that it doesn’t like her because she takes roles in “seemingly difficult movies”.

She admits at least that she needs to make a living, and has to take what’s offered to her.

We would too, if we were getting her salary…

Bam! And the Boob Job Was Gone!

Miss South Africa Melinda Bam admitted to Pretoria News that she had considered having her breasts augmented.

However, she decided against it because she didn’t want to look like a “plastic doll”. It was “important to [her] to stay natural” and she was “not going to find fault with [her] body.”

The beauty caused a scandal recently when she turned down the opportunity to represent South Africa at Miss World in China, and has hit out at various rumours surrounding the scandal, a boob job being one of them.

She told the paper she is “more determined than ever” to win Miss Universe, the pageant other rumours say she really wants to win. She is stronger because of the rumours, she said, but we wonder how natural everything is underneath her makeup?

Dreadful Diary Of The ‘Vapid’?

SA favourite Dineo Ranaka recently launched Dineo’s Diary on Vuzu, but, according to rumours, the reality show is a “disaster”.

TV with Thinus reviewed the show after its launch last week, and said it’s simply “another disastrously dull, dumb and badly produced reality show, riddled with mistakes”.

The spelling is atrocious, the camera work is trashy, and there really is no reason to bother watching “a self-indulgent, self-obsessed, egotistical and narcissistically vapid” Dineo at all.

Dineo seems to want to play herself up as a rising mogul of the entertainment industry, but her reality show has fallen deep into the same cesspit that fellow socialite Nonhle Thema’s disaster of a reality show has drowned in.

But, as Thinus Ferreira says, at least Thema went to Hollywood…

Where Is The Love?

Courtney Love allegedly asked her former assistant to break the law for her and now she is ready to sue the singer.

Jessica LaBrie has taken a claim to the LA County Superior Court where she revealed that Love stopped paying her after she refused to “commit fraudulent, unlawful, and unethical acts.”

Allegedly, Love wanted LaBrie to hire a computer hacker and forge documents – the reasons for which are unknown at present, according to TMZ.

LaBrie is now looking for unpaid salaries to be paid to her by Love and wants the court to rule in her favour over a number of other issues.

What a Love-ly story… NOT!

Death, Taxes And… Milkshakes

Her milkshake may bring all the boys to the yard…but it also appears that rapper/singer Kelis is also attracting the tax man over unpaid tax.

Kelis owes large sums of money in two states as well as to the federal government, with TMZ reporting the figure is roughly $606,096.12 in total.

Whether or not Kelis is able to pay the money is unknown at present and TMZ’s attempts to contact the performer proved futile.

Looks like she better start whipping up more of those ‘milkshakes’…

Diana Documentary Shelved

A controversial documentary about Princess Diana’s death has been canned.

“Unlawful Killing” is based on conspiracy theories surrounding Diana’s death and even goes as far to pin some of the blame on the British Royal Family.

Producers of the documentary have now pulled the plug despite having sold the film to buyers across the globe, with fears over serious lawsuits the main contributor to it being shelved.

One of the producers told the Hollywood Reporter: “It became undoable. We are all disappointed.”

We would like to see the film, nevertheless. We love a good conspiracy theory in this office.

Cattrall Is A Big Fan Of Love

Kim Cattrall insists that every person on the planet simply must experience true love… because it is like a drug.

The ‘Sex and the City’ star knows what she is talking about here following three marriages, insisting that it is the best feeling in the world.

She told Stylist magazine: “Everyone [should] experience love. True love. Deep love. Uncontrollable love. Foolish love. Where you have no control, like you’re ill.

“It’s like a drug, it’s in your body, it’s in your heart. You can’t control it, you’re under a spell.”

This makes sense now… she must have been in serious ‘love’ when she made the ‘Sex And The City’ movies.

Would You Be My Girlfriend?

Rihanna is a sexy woman – we all know that – and it now appears that she is drawing sexual attention from members of the same sex.

‘Coronation Street’ actress Brooke Vincent admits that she would love to get down with Rihanna and feels she would be the perfect girlfriend.

Brooke told The Sun newspaper: “She’s single and ready to mingle! I’d have Rihanna as my dream girlfriend.”

Meanwhile, Vincent is hoping that Snoop Dogg makes a guest appearance on the British soap.

She added: “I think he should [appear], I like Snoop Dogg. And apparently Kim Kardashian wants to be on ‘Corrie’ as well, so she can come and show her arse off!

“Snoop could be like my drug dealer or something. I’d get addicted to drugs off Snoop Dogg.”
