“June is a significant month for our country. I wish the youth of this nation the best and my advice is that they should read and educate themselves. Riches and wealth are hidden in books and it is up to them to find it.”
“My vision for the youth of South Africa is that we be inspired by the past to go out there and chase our dreams. As youth I believe we shouldn’t be afraid of failure.”
“I wish the youth of South Africa were all afforded the opportunity to attend school and actually do well. It’s sad that 30% is all we need to pass and not even 50% of students are passing. The youth need to spend more time educating themselves rather then quenching their thirsts at local taverns and nightclubs.”
“I wish the youth of Mzansi the best of luck in life and the knowledge to remember to always put God first.”
“I advise the youth of this country to not limit themselves and challenge any limitations placed on them.”
“June 16 is the day one should look back and be proud of the way paved for today’s youth. The youth must get up and do things for themselves and not wait for anyone to do things for them. No one owes you anything. South Africa is so alive with possibilities.”
“This month is dedicated to the youth of 1976 and today’s youth and is meant to inspire us to stand up for what we believe in and appreciate the actions and sacrifices of others so that we may exercise freedom equally! Umuntu ngu Muntu nga bantu – Appreciate the past for it has inspired the present then use your present to inspire your future!”
“Youth Month is a significant month not just for the youth, but SA as a whole. It commemorates the youth who fought for our rights as well as highlights the struggles our youth still face today. I wish for our youth a simpler more accessible future where they have access to basic and higher education and jobs to sustain a better life.”
