By now you'll have seen the official announcements that Fallout Boy, Jessie J and Jason Derulo are going to be making their way to South Africa for iHeartJoburg music festival. First and foremost, we would like to give a massive kudos to Steyn Entertainment who are putting this festival together. Not only have they managed to convince overseas stars to come to Joburg for the iHeartJoburg music festival; but they've managed to get three superstars, in the prime of their career to play at the festival. No hasbeens, no stars from yesteryear- no. Jessie J is one of the leading females in pop music, Jason Derulo is delivering hit after hit, and Fallout Boy are back to their best after a 3 year long hiatus.

We wish you could see us now in the office, the last time we were this excited was yesterday when we received free lunch.  We decided that we're going to put together a list of 5 things we really hope we'll see at this year's iHeartJoburg Festival (And chances are we will!)

4. Jessie J's riffing

We all know that Jessie J can sing, but have you heard her RIFF live? She's an incredible all round performer, but the riffs she pulls are absolutely insane. We'd almost go so far as to say that she's better LIVE than she is in studio (And she's pretty darn good in studio!) We can't wait to see, or rather hear, those bone chilling riffs as we dance along to Domino, Do it like a Dude and more of her biggest hits.

If Jessie J shuts down the festival with a fiery performance as awesome as this one with American Idol finalist Angie Miller we'll gave away free lunch to one of our readers!

3. A proper punk rock performance

Fallout Boy have always been the ultimate punk rockers. Even before they became mainstream big circa 2006, FOB had a strong reputation for bring the heat on stage. The band took a hiatus in 2010 but returned last year with their hit single My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light 'em Up) and it was as if they'd never left. We hope they light Johannesburg up in September as we know they can.

We've attended a lot of great concerts in the last year, but we're really looking forward to a PROPER punk rock experience when FOB take the stage at iHeartJoburg.

2. Jason Derulo taking off his shirt

We have to be honest, we didn't believe that Jason Derulo would be a part of the lineup. But when it was confirmed we were as excited as anybody. Derulo needs no introductions to South Africans, this boy is HOT right now. And we're not just talking about his looks. His music is playing on every mainstream station around the world and he continues to deliver hit after hit.

We're pretty sure that all the ladies in the house will want to see him take off his shirt, and judging by the amount of times we've seen his well chiseled upper extremities, we're pretty sure he will oblige!

1. The announcement of the next 3 acts

Look, don't even get us wrong, the 3 acts that have already been confirmed are exciting enough to ensure that this festival will be one of the hottest musical experiences of the year. However the fact that there's still 3 more acts to be confirmed has to be the most exciting part of this whole experience. Judging by the caliber of artists that has already been chosen, we are very confident that the next 3 acts are going to be humdingers. September 6th can't come soon enough!
