What's Hot: ZAlebs favorite Heritage Day outfits
By ZAlebs on 24 September 2015 at 09:36 · Comments
South African celebrities let us in on how they'll be celebrating their Heritage Day on this beautiful Thursday.

It wouldn’t be a true Heritage Day without us appreciating some traditional fashion from some of our favourite celebrities.

Here’s a list of some heritage fashion you might’ve missed out on and that we had to place on ZAlebs.

Little Skhumba

He may not be a celebrity, but Skhumba’s son looked so cute in his Zulu attire we had to place him on the top of our traditional fashion list. The little man stole our hearts with this look, we can only imagine how cute he looks dancing Indlamu, Skhumba is going to have a difficult time trying to prevent his son from breaking hearts,we can't get over his cuteness.

Nonhle Ndala

One of the sexiest celebrity moms we know, Nonhle Ndala can do no wrong when it comes to fashion, this black and white traditional dress suits her so well.

Lesley Musina

We're used to seeing him in the best suits money can buy, but we think we prefer him in some traditional garments. Lesley Musina added a bit of swag in his Heritage Day outfit with some killer black sneakers and leather pants. He was right, he looks like a cross between Lil Wayne and Ringo Madlingozi here.

Oh yes Phuti yes!

We needn't say much about this picture as it already speaks volumes, Phuti Khomo just won us over with this look.

ZAlebs also spoke to a couple of actors who told us how they would be celebrating their 2015 Heritage Day.

Keneilwe Matidze who plays the role of Nandipha on e.tv’s Gold Diggers had this today about her Heritage Day celebration:

“How I celebrate Heritage Day is the old-fashioned kasi way. As a girl that lives in the township of Soweto, we love to braai, so I’ll be chilling with friends, maybe visit Vilakazi street, have a few drinks and be merry.”

Umlilo actor Thato Molamu told us that he’s going to be spending Heritage Day working all day…aaaw!

“ I’m going to be celebrating the day by working, believe it or not. I’ll be working on a play, you know, creating Art and that’s the best way for me to celebrate this day, doing what I love. I’d like to also encourage every South African to love and respect their language and to also respect other people’s cultures and just be one because at the end of the day WE ARE AFRICA.”
