Rapper AKA was in Durban on Friday to support East Coast Radio's Toy Story Corporate Day.

Several celebrities joined ECR at the Pavilion Shopping Centre, where the station is broadcasting live, to man the phone-lines.

By 2:30pm, the radio station had received a whopping R1-million worth of pledges!

Other stars who gave up their time for the charity drive included, Sharks rugby players, Jean-Luc du Preez & Daniel du Preez, actor Thato Molamu, TV personality Patricia Lewis and singer Lloyd Cele.

It’s great to see celebrities using their star power for a good cause!
