What’s Hot: Arthur’s inspiring Brenda Fassie story

Not many people had the privilege of working with the legendary Brenda Fassie.

That’s why Arthur Mafokate counts it as a blessing to have been a part of the late musician’s life. He took us down memory lane after sharing a picture of Mabrrr’s platinum plaque for Umuntu Uyathsintsha, which he produced. 

This was followed by a long message of how the platinum-selling album came about.

This is one album that sold big, and it happened when people were trying to write off SA’s Queen Of Pop #BrendaFassie (who at the time was going through a lot in her life). As someone she raised, (if we all remember that I used to carry her bags around, danced for her, followed her at clubs and even stayed at her house). Few years later she visited me for only 1 and a half hours. And guess what I did with those few hours.
