Atandwa Kani has experienced a lot of drama and controversy over the past couple of months.
The actor, who confirmed that he is not the father of Thembisa Mdoda’s children (his ex), explained to Drum magazine: “I have been through quite a lot, which means my family has been, too. From being cheated on, thrust onto tabloid front pages, the deceit, being robbed and lied to, and all of a sudden I lose a family.”
But as you know, there’s light at the end of the tunnel. The actor, who married his It’s Complicated co-star Fikile Mthwalo, told the publication that he looks forward to the day that his wife blesses him with his “very own” children.
He also explained that he was never married to Thembisa. “Not traditionally nor in a Western wedding. This is the first time I have said vows and the words ‘I do’.”
And the actor cannot stop gushing over his wife. “Fikile Mthwalo-Kani is a blessing, a gift from God, my inspiration , my heart, my soulmate, my best friend and I am her co-pilot, her fan, her supporter. Life is a bliss right now.”
