It’s rare for a hip hop artist to deny that he’s dating a model, especially a sexy one like Babalwa Mneno, but rapper and Glits Gang member L-Tido is an exeption. Rumours had been circulating around town about a possible hook up between the two, and, like all other celbritieies nowadays L-Tido took to Twitter on Monday to dismiss the rumours that he and Mneno are an item.

L-Tido responded to a Twitter question posed by one of his avid fans saying: “Are you really dating? Because ya’ll would make a hot couple.’’

Like the nonchalant type of guy L-Tido is he simply dismissed the rumours again denying that there is nothing happening between him and Babalwa.

Babalwa on the other hand has a different view of their so called relationship status, on Twitter she ignited the gossip by tweeting back L-Tido warning him to behave while he was in Durban.

“@barbilicious: @L_Tido you better not be doin’ no hanky panky in that Durban, or else *waving my finger*!!!”

L-Tido didn't respond to Babalwa’s seemingly absurd Twitter threats which kind of ticked her off a little. She then tweeted him again a day later with a tweet that seemed rather desperate.

“@Barbilicious @L_Tido Call me NOW tuu!! :-I”

We don’t know if this was a friendly tweet just to get the Twitter world buzzing or if Mneno is really not happy with the way her new “toy boy” is handling himself when out of town.
