To celebrate the launching of their new store in Sandton City, Bebe invited ZAlebs along with several celebrities and honored guests to join in on the party.

With spring around the corner, a lot of brands and stores are taking the opportunity to rebrand and relaunch themselves; you know, fresh start and all? Last night it was Bebe's turn to show off their changes in anticipation for the spring season. We were invited to the launching of a new store in Sandton City which was decorated with liquorice, candy/toffee apples and of course, a variety of Bebe's finest clothing

It was a star studded affair as the likes of Boity, Carmel Fisher, LeAnne Dlamini, Dineo Moeketsi and many others made appearances at the store. We were treated to canapes and drinks as we had the opportunity to mingle and chat to some of the high profile celebs that were at the event. We asked Boity if she saw herself as a Bebe girl,

"I'm actually wearing Bebe right now! I've been converted. I think it's the kind of brand that all girls need to be buying and I love it on me"

It wasn't long until the entertainment began and LeAnne Dlamini wowed the crowed with her stunning voice as she sang two songs to set the mood. Media, VIP guests and celebrities were all welcomed to shop around (And given a fantastic discount too!) as we were served cocktails for the remainder of the night by quite possibly the friendliest bartender in the world.

Actress, Hayley Owen was also in attendence and she took the time to chat to ZAlebs briefly telling us,

"I love this Bebe store, there are a lot of exciting pieces here. I think it's going to do really well. There's a great location, it's a fun and trendy store, it's a recipe for success"

While Poppy Ntshongwana, who made a late appearance, admitted,

"I'm a fan of the brand, unfortunately I haven't seen anything that I want to get as yet, but I think it's a great, girly little store"

The night was a fabulous success filled with nothing but good moods, great snacks/drinks and of course, great people. In fact, if we're hard pressed to find a complaint it'd be that there wasn't a great deal of space; but that's just testament to how popular an event this was and how much everybody is already in love with the new Bebe store!
