Celebs have their say.

While some people are tired of seeing the same faces on TV and radio, it doesn't seem fair that some celebrities are being attacked in the process.

We've seen and heard countless complaints from people who want fresh personalities to be given a chance in the entertainment industry, and not just Minnie Dlamini, Bonang Matheba, Pearl Thusi, Boity Thulo, Lerato Kganyago, and others.

This even led to #OpenUpTheIndustry becoming a trending topic on Twitter, with different people sharing their opinions.

Different celebrities also joined in on the conversation. Bonang, who is on Top Billing, Afternoon Express, E! Entertainment Africa, and Metro FM, was interviewed by 702.

In a short clip posted on the radio station's Twitter page, she explained that she initially lost out on the Metro FM gig to Siphokazi January.

It was a matter of like 'I didn't get this right now, let me try something else..."

Meanwhile, Lerato Kganyago has also taken to her Twitter page to share her thoughts on the topic.

"NOBODY wants to work! People just want everything handed to them!!!," Lerato wrote.

She then shared how many times she has been rejected.

Pearl Thusi also added some interesting views.

Sjoe! What a heavy, but necessary topic.
