It hasn't even been a week since Cassper Nyovest cleaned up at the Metro FM Music Awards, and people are already spreading rumours about the Tsholofelo star. The rapper took to Facebook to set the record straight about a rumour that's been started about him.
Douglas Mosadi, A radio DJ from Motsweding FM apparently told people that Cassper refused to do an interview with him because he can't speak Setswana. An angry Cassper took to Instagram and wrote: "Attention Batswana and other people of the North West Province!!! I just got a call from management on my personal line telling me of the commotion at home due to Radio Presenter Douglas Mosadi Spreading lies about me saying I denied to do an interview on Motsweding FM a cause apparently "ha ke itsi go bua Setswana" (I don't know Setswana)."
He said the whole story was made up and added that he had never denied any interview. He continued: "I am disgusted by the story as I haven't even spoken to Douglas in 4 months. I am on holiday as I type this because I have been fatigued. I am sooo disappointed by this as bo abuti Douglas are people we should be looking up to now he's going out of his way to lie about me and damage my name."
The rapper added that he'll be taking legal action against the DJ. He also apologised to his fans. "Sorry for the lies that were spread. It's not true at all!!"
Hawu... Why are people trying to damage Cassper's reputation? Can't we all just be happy for the guy, especially if he's repping your province! He's on top of his game and doesn't need such negativity right now.
Shame on you DJ Douglas.
Don't like to play victim but the media is writing and saying all sorts of negative stuff about me since the Metros. Thought they'd be happy
