Where do we even start? There really aren't enough words to describe the epicness of Cassper Nyovest's #FillUpTheDome show.
We're still trying to take it all in. What we witnessed at the Ticket Pro Dome on Saturday, 31 October, was amazing and inspiring.
The atmosphere was electric from the beginning, as the venue was filled to capacity. We spotted a number of celebs and politicians, including Pabi Moloi, DJ Sphectacula, Slikour, K Naomi, Fikile Mbalula and Julius Malema.

Various artists, including TolA$$Mo, Stilo Magolide, Riky Rick and Major League DJz took to the stage before Cassper came out for his set.

When the rapper finally came out, the crowd went wild. He perfomed some songs from his second album, Refiloe, and then did some collaborations with L-Tido, Riky and Anatii.
He also pulled the mother of all surprises when he brought DJ Black Coffee to the stage. The world-renowned DJ perfomed his hit track We Dance Again, and also danced for the audience alongside Cassper. What a great performance!
Wow! @CassperNyovest did it! Congratulations on making history for African Hip-Hop tonight! #FillUpTheDome pic.twitter.com/j1mmkBhycI

If you didn't know by now, Cassper has some loyal fans out there. He had them singing along, word for word, to all his hit tracks, inclduing Phuma Kim, Gusheshe and Doc Shebeleleza.
One of his biggest fans is his girlfriend Boity, who was singing her lungs out. This was also a big moment for her and she was inspired by her man.
How do I communicate with this incredible being after this? I feel like I need to reintroduce myself and ask him out. πππππΎ

This was truly one of the best shows we've seen. Even TV and radio personality, Sizwe Dhlomo believes that Cassper's show was better than Kanye West's (when he was in Mzansi). You know that whatver Sizwe says, goes, right? Right!
Now, let me tell you something here boys & girls... Cassper had better production on this show than Kanye West! #FillUpTheDome

Cassper even got a shout-out from Trevor Noah, who is making history in the USA.
Well done Cassper. Well done! #FillUpTheDome

It's really hard not to be inspired by what Cassper - a young man from Mafikeng - has achieved. This was big moment for South African music and we don't doubt that the rapper will continue to make history.
β
After all, he did announce that he'll be filling up Orlando Stadium in 2016. We're convinced that he'll make this happen.
Well done, Cassper Nyovest.
