A "threatening" post, which states that Cassper is not welcome in Zimbabwe if the xenophobic attacks don't stop, has gone viral.

Cassper Nyovest has announced that he will not cancel his performance in Zimbabwe next weekend. This comes after a threatening post went viral on social media, telling the rapper that he is not welcome in that country because of the recent xenophobic attacks.

The message reads: "Dear Cassper Nyovest, tell your people to stop xenophobia or you're not welcome! Yours Zimbabwe."

Cassper took to Instagram to explain why he's decided to go ahead with his performance. He wrote on the photo-sharing site: "This is making its rounds on social media in Zimbabwe and people are advising me to cancel my show in Bulawayo next week and I am not budging."

He added that he does not support xenophobia. "My show in Zimbabwe is still on for the 25th of April. My Zimbabwean fans are gonna come to my show. We are one AFRICA therefore we will dance together. I will come perform for my brothers. Thank you."

Cassper is not the only artist who's against xenophobia. After the attacks broke out in Durban, a couple of celebrities including Black Coffee and Dineo Ranaka, took to social media to share their thoughts. Dineo also shared that she is "ashamed" to be South African.
