Known for her classical hit Umqombothi, Yvonne Chaka Chaka has been added onto the ONE Campaign celebrity list which aims to eradicate poverty in Africa.
ONE is a movement of three million people in African and around the world fighting the injustice of extreme poverty. The latest campaign sees ONE partnering up with various musicians across the globe who've each been asked to record a protest song for the campaign in the bid to fight poverty in Africa.
Chaka Chaka will be joining other artist such as U2, Elvis Costello with Mumford and Sons, Bruce Springsteen, Green Day and Kid Rock.
It’s been reported that Chaka Chaka’s single Amazing Man, which was written more than 20 years ago, will be her contribution to the list of protest songs for the One Campaign. What's also interesting is that the song is all about Madiba.
