The second season of Ashes to Ashes is set to air next week on 14 March, and according to its cast members, it’s going to be one badass season.
The ZAlebs team made its way to the official launch and bumped into old and new cast members such as Menzi Ngubane and the ever-charming Atandwa Kani.
“I always feel that if you want the best show in terms of television, film, soapie, you get the best actors. And if you get the best actors, you get Atandwa Kani in it. I’m not going to lie to you, humility is for old people, we’re young, we’re vibrant, and we’re sexy as hell,” an enthusiastic Atandwa joked during our brief interview with him.
The cast was also excited about its six nominations at the SAFTAs, which is quite impressive considering that they’ve only had one season on television.
