Cyber-Link wins Step Up or Step Out

The whole country tuned in to ETV to watch Step Up or Step Out on Sunday the 15th of September, as everybody waited on the edge of their seats to see who would be crowned Mzansi's hottest dance group. It was a tense affair as we awaited the announcement with baited breath. In the end, Cyber-Links (Khabonina did mention in our interview with her that she had a soft spot for the group!) ran out victors and are the grateful recipients of a whopping R70 000. The group have great ambitions of taking their dancing careers to new heights and this money will only serve to help them reach their ambitions and goals.

Cyber-Links' story is one of a real underdog, as throughout the competition the group found themselves in the bottom two on more than one occasion. Regardless, the quintet persevered and continued working on their talented regimes before eventually making it to the finale.

Cyber-Links managed to edge out fellow finalists, Snap, Crackle, Pop and De Ja Vu. Snap, Crackle, Pop had been tipped by many as favorites to win the competition and eventually came up disappointed runners up.

It was an exciting finale that came to an exhilarating and jubilant end as the boys from Cyber-Link could hardly contain their joy and enthusiasm after finding out they had won.

ZAlebs would like to wish Cyber-Links the heartiest of congratulations in their victory and we wish a long, fruitful career in the local (And eventually international!) dance scene. We're also expecting to see De Ja Vu and Snap, Crackle & Pop in the limelight in the near future!

Well done to our friends at E.TV for hosting such an entertaining dance show; we're already excited for next season!
