Former 'Jam Alley' presenter Vinolia Mashego, aka V-Mash, has landed a small role in 'IsiBaya'.

Drum magazine earlier this year reported that Mashego was making a comeback as one of the presenters of a live interactive music video show entitled 'Pls Call Me', and she at the time said she's thrilled to have a chance to salvage her career, which she bravely admitted had hit rock bottom.

Broadening her usual TV presenter horizons as an actress, Mashego has had an appearance on 'Zabalaza', and she was recently cast in the small role of Keletso in popular show 'IsiBaya'.

"It was a wonderful experience working with talented actors who take their work seriously," V-Mash told Drum.

"I am playing alongside Mampho Brescia (Iris Zungu) as her cousin and I hope the producers will grow my character."

'IsiBaya' publicist Bongi Potelwa confirmed Mashego's role in the show, which recently made a move from telenovela to weekday soapie.

She said: "I can confirm she's joined the soap and that she shot her scenes, but it's for a very short role."
