There are only two weeks left until East Rand township, Tembisa, turns into a place of great festivity, as DJ Shimza will host his 7th annual One Man Show on Christmas, 25 December.
This year’s show will be extra special for Shimza as plans to double the number of orphans that benefit from the show.
The 26-year-old DJ will host a Christmas lunch for orphaned kids.
He usually caters for around 400-500 kids, but this year he plans on doing things even bigger by feeding 1000 kids at the Mehlareng stadium in Tembisa.
"After my One Man Show in January, I normally buy stationary and school uniforms for those that I can reach so that they are also well-equipped for the school year ahead.
"This year through my One Man Show I want to raise 1000 new school shoes for 2016. I urge people to please support the show because I believe that this is a reachable goal. If One Man can do a bit for their community then together we can build stronger nation," said the DJ in a statement.

However, DJ Shimza does require help to pull this venture off, and is appealing to anybody who will be able to help him achieve this goal for the kids.
Whether you want to provide an extra pair of hands, or contribute with food supplies or any services you specialise in - catering, tents, transport, jumping castles or anything that can assist in providing a fun day for the kids.
