Wow! Hip hop artists seem to be raking in the cash. If Cassper Nyovest's comments to the Sowetan are anything to go by, the rapper has clearly made it!
The Doc Shebeleza hitmaker reportedly told the daily that he sometimes clocks over R2-million a night. Wow! AKA recently called out the rapper for "lying" on his 428 to LA track. In the song, Cassper raps: "I make a mill in a month, you make about R500k. Sometimes when I'm out of the country, I can make about a million a day...".
He explained to the paper: "I make too much money and I own business. I'm not just a rapper, I own my business and in my business I own myself. Then I've got my energy drink, I've got my clothing label and then I've got property. I've got artists, I do my own events which can clock about two million a night."
He added that the reason why it seems shocking for other rappers is because they don't make that kind of money. Speaking about AKA's tweets, Cassper said he also thought the beef was over: "I'm confused as everybody else... Me and AKA were speaking on the phone as well..."
He added that he wishes him well. Do you, Cassper? Do you really?
