Many people struggle to understand the power of a beard.
While many struggle to grow one, there are some men out there who have the ability to don something magical on their faces.
Beards are the most manly things in the world, while some even go as far as to say that you must never trust anyone without one. You make of that what you will.
There are some fantastic beards in the world of Mzansi entertainment, too, and we have listed five of them below.
Enjoy...
Black Coffee
Black Coffee is a big hit around the world with his music, but his beard also deserves a lot of credit. While he doesn't go full face with his facial hair, his moustache and Abraham Lincoln vibes contribute to a great look. He is not showy with his beard, but it works for him and provides a refined look.
Hashim Amla
The cricket sensation has a wonderfully full beard. Amla has been growing his beard for many years, and his look has become a trademark in cricketing circles - often fans don fake beards in the stands as a tribute. While there is no proof that his magnificent beard can be attributed to his skills on the field, we think it plays a part.
Shona Ferguson
Shona is an excellent example of making a goatee work, while his ventures into growing a full beard are underrated. The actor seldom goes long with his beard, but his efforts in the 5 o'clock shadow realm have become synonymous with his look. Why do Connie and Shona have such a strong relationship, it is the power of the beard. Seriously.
Riky Rick
In a recent interview with ZAlebs, Riky admitted that it takes him a while to get his beard to the desired look and length, but we really admire his facial hair. It always looks good and is trimmed to perfection. Boss Zonke also carries a comb with him to ensure it is always on point - and it works.
Andrew Hallett
Our very own ZAlebs News presenter Andrew has a beard to behold. While he has always donned a beard, 2016 has seen him let it grow out, and it is looking majestic. Asked if he would ever consider shaving his beard, he said: "Would you ever consider cutting off your arm?" There you have it, folks.
