Where does your love for cars come from? 

 

Well, I think it's in every guy’s DNA. Probably after driving my first car when I was like 15. 

 

Tell us about your first car

 

The first car I had was a problematic car. I bought a Golf1 - which looked great, but had a lot of issues. Everything went wrong, but after fixing everything I realized how important it is to buy a car with a maintenance plan or warranty.

 

Any tips for first-time car buyers?

What are you driving now? 

 

I'm driving a sponsored VW Scirocco and parked away in my garage is my show car which is a Subaru Impreza. Tell us a bit about your role on Petrolheads 

 

Well, it's a difficult one as I have to source cars from KZN and there is a process to how they are chosen. Each car and owner has to have an ‘X-factor’. After we choose them, we film them at a location in KZN, also showcasing the best the province has to offer.

 

Petrolheads airs on Saturday and Sunday on Ignition TV, Dstv 189.
