We'll be hearing more from Amanda in the future, that's for sure!

Amanda Antony's road on Idols SA might have come to an end, but her music career is just getting started. The finalist, who comes from Port Elizabeth, has promised that Mzansi will definitely see her again in the music scene.

She said: "For the near future, I think you can expect me to come back with a bigger bang. The name that I have been called on Idols, I think I'm forever gonna hold on to that because it pushes me. The comeback kid, guys, is coming back. I'm gonna come back harder and you guys can expect great things from me because I love what I do and will probably never stop doing it."

Although she would have loved to stay until the end, Amanda is not really beating herself about leaving the show. She believes that she did the best that she could do and gave her all. The singer has learned through her Idols journey and will be using her new-found knowledge to kickstart her career.

She thanked everyone who has supported her for the past couple of weeks.

"The mere fact that I made it to the top seven, it means there are people out there who believe in me and who were supporting me and voting. Effort has been put in and they put their hearts in me, they believe in me. I'm forever so grateful... I'm gonna push harder because I'm so grateful for the support and thank you so much, guys. You have made my journey so worthwhile."
