The YFM DJ believes that she still has a lot more to learn about the industry.

Botlhale Baitsiwe is already carving her name on the South African entertainment industry. The 22-year-old YFM presenter has described 2015 as a good year.

She told ZAlebs: "It's been amazing in the sense that I've managed to pace myself. The things and the opportunities that I've come across have come at the right time and have happened when they were supposed to happen. It's been a good year. Ayeye [TV series], we finished shooting in January..."

She said her weekend slot on YFM, on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm, is very exciting.  "It's a bigger audience, it's a lot more work and it's challenging because I'm content prouducing and I'm presenting the show... It's been very challenging but I think I've learnt a lot this year, a lot about the industry."

On some of the lessons she's learnt, Botlhale said: "I've learnt about how tough it is. Things are not always as easy as they seem. Opportunities don't come as easily as people think they do..."

All these lessons have made her stronger and want to work even harder to fulfill her dreams. She already has a plan for her career. "At 25, I wanna be the producer of my own show. Hopefully I'll have my own production company. I'll be acting."

However, for now, all her energy is focused on her radio show. "I'm so in love with YFM, I'm in love with the brand and I'm love with the people that I work with, in love with the listeners. I don't want to rush into something that I'm not ready for. I'm still growing as a radio presenter, I still have a lot of work to do. There's always something new, there's always another level to reach."
