Speaking to True Love magazine, Bonang said she is giving herself at least two years to settle down and start her own family.
"I think becoming a wife will come first before a mom because that's how I was raised. It's been instilled in me that you need to be married before having kids. I planned my life since I was a teenager, so I know exactly how that part of my life will pan out," she said.
And opening up about who she might settle down with, Matheba said: "The person I'm seeing now, I think he would be the one."
Bonang and Euphonik’s relationship has had its fair share of public drama. Bonang took out a protection order against Euphonik after laying assault charges against him, and she was also involved in a catfight with Poppy Ntshongwana over the DJ.
There was at some point also whispers that she was cheating on him with Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, while rumours were rife that Euphonik was having an affair with kwaito star Chomee.
“You know, people have their problems. They break up and make up; they go for counselling. It’s very hard when you decide not to talk about something and then other people make it their business to talk about it. I find that very unfair,” Matheba explained to the magazine.
But added that she doesn’t get angry over media reports anymore, saying: “People can do and say what they want. If they don’t like my dress or the way I speak or behave, go ahead and say it – it’s your opinion.”
