Isibaya ends off on a high note

If you didn’t watch Isibaya’s finale last night, you probably missed out on the best acting ever to grace our local television screens in a while.  We’re not discrediting any of the cast members of Isibaya who’ve done an incredible job since the telenovela began but last night’s performance by Nomzamo Mbatha “Thandeka” single handedly gave every actress on television a run for their money. The girl pulled a Meryl Streep on us and we were not ready at all!

The acting was impeccable in fact Nomzamo has been quite consistent with her acting since the beginning, her and Sdumo Mtshali “Sbu” on screen makes you want to fall in love immediately (the romantic background music whenever they appeared was just too cute)

Nomzamo proved to us last night why she was the perfect actress for this role, honestly she actually freaked us out when she went into that trance and then afterwards appeared dead.  Twitter Ville were so in awe of this ladies work Isibaya even trended in the U.K.    Thank goodness for the repeat of this show.

We really hope Nomzamo is in the soapie version of this show, she clearly deserves it.  We take our hats off to Bomb Productions for such a riveting episode. Make sure you catch the repeat if you missed it, make sure you visit a friend who has a PVR.
