Jobs first movie trailer released

The first trailer for the Steve Jobs biopic Jobs starring actor Ashton Kutcher has been released.

Kutcher plays the role of Jobs - ee never really took Kutcher as a Steve Jobs look alike but in this movie he sure pulls it off very well!

The film spans Jobs 30 year career from when he dropped out of University to when he established his Apple Empire with co-founder Steve Wozniak (played by Josh Gad).  The movie will be released in the States on 16 August 2013 however, a South African release date has not yet been confirmed.

Earlier this year Jobs premiered at the Sundance Festival to mixed reviews.

According to the website Trusted Reviews, Steve Wozniak was able to view some early footage of the film and had the following to say:

"As far as the personalities that were in that scene [laughs] this was just ridiculous. Like Steve Jobs as some sort of 'oh my gosh, I'm the father of society, I've got the ideas that are gonna drive the--' No, he didn't act like that at all."

Ouch! Seems like the co-founder of Apple was not too impressed with how Hollywood depicted his business partner. We’ll just have to see how the movie rates when it comes to the box office, as the saying goes “numbers don’t lie.”
