Jozi FM DJ, Donald Sebolai has been granted bail of R10 000 after he was arrested for stabbing his 32-year old girlfriend, Dolly Tshabalala to death at his flat in Jabulani in June 2014.
Sebolai confessed to Dolly’s friend over the phone, that he had stabbed her several times. A R50, 000 reward was offered to anyone who knew of Sebolai's whereabouts after he had been on the run for 9 days.
Dolly's blood stained pyjamas and towel were found stashed in her car. The car was found abandoned in a veld in Soweto.
Initially, Donald had denied stabbing his girlfriend but later on admitted to stabbing her, claiming that, in his defence, she had attacked him first.
Sebolai's trial will begin on the 9th of February at the Palm Ridge Magistrate Court.
