The charges included assault, malicious damage to property and reckless driving.
According to Drum magazine, the case was dropped by the court because Khumalo and her sister passed the court's diversion programme, which includes forms of rehabilitation such as counselling and community service.
“I am so happy about it. There was no case to begin with,” Kelly told Drum.
The sisters were accused of attacking Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa’s wife, Mandisa Mkhize, last year during what has been deemed as a fit of road rage. However, it was speculated that the attack was prompted by Khumalo's affair with Meyiwa.
Meyiwa's wife claimed the pair had dented her BMW and struck her in the face.
Kelly, who has just joined forces with Arthur Mafokate on a new single, said: “I’m now focused on my new album that is coming out soon, and I’ll also be shooting a music video. My full focus is on my work now.”
