Khanyi, Nonhle and Babalwa’s reality check

A brand new reality series featuring three popular socialites, Nonhle Thema, Babalwa Mneno and Khanyi Mbau entitled Reality Check will premiere on e.tv this July.

Reality Check is a new reality series which will feature the three socialites stepping out of their glamorous comfort zone to get down to some serious ground work. It will be an emotional roller-coaster journey as these three divas embark on a quest to accomplish various life changing  missions.

Commonly known for their social media catfights, these trendsetters have decided to collaborate, swap their heels and city slicker comforts zones for a journey to test their characters in the field by giving back to communities. The intention is to show their fans that behind the image of glamour, fame and tantrums lies real ladies who are affected South Africa’s social issues.  They are dedicated to making a difference and committed to doing their bit to contribute towards building a better South Africa.

“It is our mission to ensure that e.tv broadcasts homebrewed content which reflects our communities. Reality Check has the intention to exemplify that there is more to life than lavishing lifestyles.  This will showcase a different side of these ladies, a side that is devoid of the frivolity of usual reality shows which depict celebrities doing nothing but going about their day to day lives,” says Monde Twala, e.tv Channel Head.

In each episode, each diva will receive a mystery SOS SMS that outline their goodwill mission; they will then meet at the scene and begin their journey to do good.

A bit more about Reality Check:

Reality Check is an entertaining constructed reality series that documents the quest of three famous socialites who feel it’s time to give back and pay-it-forward.  Babalwa Mneno, Nonhle Thema and Khanyi Mbau are known for the high life and all the decadence that comes with it. Often misunderstood, these high maintenance ladies are now at a reflective phase in their lives and careers. Bound by the controversies accompanied with fame and fortune, these three socialites have decided to prove to South Africa that there’s more to them than the glitz, glamour and twitter catfights that they are known for.

It’s time for a Reality Check!
