It is said that we should never despise the days of small beginnings.
This is something proving to be true for Lerato Kganyago. The actress and television host, who started her journey on Soweto TV, has now found herself communicating to the rest of the African continent.
Lala, who co-hosts Moments South Africa (part of Nigerian talkshow Moments with Mo) with Pearl Thusi, is proud of her achievement. She shared a clip from the show on Twitter.

Lerato and Pearl are part of the new faces on Moments. The show will also feature hosts from Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya. The show premiered on Ebony Life TV, DSTV channel 165, on Wednesday evening.
Miss Kganyago has really come a long way from her days on her Soweto TV talkshow, The LKG Show. On the show, she interviewed some of Mzansi's stars including Bonang Matheba, Jub Jub and Nandi Mngoma.
When the show ended, Lerato told Vuzu: "It's been an incredible journey. We all know that this industry is not so rosey, you know, but being with Soweto TV I've learned so many things. I always say 'I'm coming from humble beginnings'. When I started on Soweto TV we used to shoot in a classroom, and it used to leak because we were live then.
"You'd be doing links and you've got the rain coming down on you because it was leaking... I stayed with them because I knew where I was going and I knew what I wanted..."
Wow! Can you believe how far she has come? What an inspiration you are, Lerato!
Well done to Pearl and Lerato. Keep flying the South African flag high!
