Trevor Noah’s Last in Translation show has been doing extremely well. With every show in Johannesburg completely sold out, it’s not surprising why Trevor feels great about coming back home and performing.
However, Friday night’s show (12 June) proved to be an even more special show for the comedian, who had an unexpected audience member come watch him do what he does best.
Actress and Oscar winner, Lupita Nyong’o who is the country shooting parts of a new Disney movie, called Queen of Katwe, in Johannesburg surprised Trevor with her attendance. And by the looks of things, Trevor was extremely surprised and elated. It was so adorable that Lupita even opted to wear the same colour dress as Trevor’s outfit.

Trevor still has a few more shows to complete in Johannesburg until the end of June, then it’s off to the States, Canada and the United Kingdom for more shows.
