We're sure you've already picked your favourite Idols SA contestant so far. In case you haven't already, there are 16 people to choose from, including Mmatema Moremi, who really, really, really, really, really, really, really wants to win the competition. 

Speaking to ZAlebs, Mmatema said: "FInally I'm in the top 16. I've waited years and years to be on Idols, it is such a great experience. I really have to win. I need to, I want to win. Being in the top 16 is like 'yes, step one'. So yeah, all I need is South Africa's love and I'm receiving that already. I'm hoping for more."

The singer quickly became a fan favourite after singing Demi Lovato's Skyscraper. She really sang her heart out. "I became a 'skyscraper' from then, I got a new name 'skyscraper' from being a 'creep'... "

She said the experience has been amazing, but also overwhelming at the same time. "This is what I've always wanted to be. I think I've been called for this and it's time where I'll get established and get the job going. I'm excited and I'm really happy."
