Mi Casa charity toy run
Mi Casa front man Joao "J'Something" Fonseca spent his 25th birthday this week giving back. The house music star asked friends and fans to spend a chilled couple of hours with him at Liquid Chefs in Rosebank and all people had to bring was a toy.

He decided to host a toy run for the iKhaya Lomusa Children's home in the Johannesburg township of Alexandra.

He is also an ambassador for the Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital.

"This is why I wanted to be famous," he said, " so I could have this type of platform to do this ."

Nice one J. And well done to Mi Casa on the release of the new album, Su Casa, which climbed to the top of local iTunes charts within 12 hours of release.
