The woman accused of throwing an empty bottle at TV presenter Minnie Dlamini during her 24th birthday party at posh Rosebank nightclub Kong has spoken up about the incident on Twitter.
Dlamini in a statement by her agency confirmed that she was struck by a bottle thrown at her by a woman called Ncumisa, who she said she has reported to the police.
But, according to a follow-up report by Sunday World, Ncumisa has taken to Twitter to defend herself against Dlamini’s accusations, which she claims conveniently ignores what really happened.
Venting from her @Misa_Vuvulicious twitter handle, she directly confronted Dlamini by tweeting: “@MinnieDlamini I can't believe u took this to the papers when we both know the truth in all of this!
“@MinnieDlamini I wonder how you sleep at night?” she also wrote.
And tweeting the publication, she claimed: “@SundayWorldZA FYI- Minnie knows exactly why we fought!!!!”
Dlamini did not, however, respond to any of these tweets.
Described by Sunday World as a “mysterious sport administrator”, one could perhaps be forgiven for thinking that the catfight which reportedly ensued between the two women might have something to do with soccer star Itumeleng Khune, who Dlamini reportedly dumped over his allegedly cheating ways.
Ncumisa's Twitter handle has since been suspended.
