MTN Bushfire brings on Spoek Mathambo

MTN Bushfire 2014 is just one month away and this year’s festival promises the best line-up to date, with artists from over 10 countries and some massive international stars including Ladysmith Black Mambazo and, just announced, one of South Africa’s hottest international exports Spoek Mathambo, plus legendary Zimbabwean artist Oliver Mtukudzi.  ZAlebs is also looking forward to seeing performances by Bongo Maffin and France beat box sensaation Under Kontrol.

This renowned Swaziland festival is expecting more than 20, 000 festival goers who are to be entertained with live music, theatre, poetry, visual arts and even film.

The Barn, will feature a contemporary art exhibition titled ‘Swaziland NOW!’, which sees local and international visual artists “bringing their fire” and exploring the issues of contemporary Swaziland.   It should be interesting to see what type of performance Spoek will bring on stage, he's one of the few South African artists who's just on a lane of his own when it comes to his style of music.
